Fishing minister of Puntland state, Eng Mahamed Farah Adan, warned Somaliland administration to try incoming Somaliland elections to be held Sool, Sanag and Ayn regions.

 

The minister during his visit to buhodle resident said all Sool, Sanag and Ayn regions are controlled by Puntiland state and it is fragrant aggression Somaliland elections to be held in the regions.

 

Eng Mahamed Farah Adan said Puntland respects incoming Somaliland elections but said it refused the election to happen in Puntilan soil and added some Somaliland officials campaigning for Somaliland elections reached recently Las’anod town and some of Sanag’s eastern resident.

 

Fishing minister of Puntland state said Puntland will respond if Somaliland tries to held election in Las’anod town.

 

Another officials in Puntiland cabinet and parliament have also sent such warnings.

 

The warnings from officials of Puntland came after some of the leaders of Somaliland’s parties reached the residents and said the election to be held there, Sool, Sanag and Ayn regions.

 

Somaliland administration seized Las’anod town from Puntland at the end of 2008 and recently the president of Puntiland said they will bring Las’anod town under Puntland administration.
