Mogadishu (HOL) — A tense standoff unfolded Saturday in Somalia's Gedo region as Somali forces and local residents blocked Ethiopian troops from advancing into the border town of Buulo Hawo, a hotspot in the ongoing struggle for regional control and sovereignty.
