TFG to take over Islamists' Strongholds in 2010, Somali minister says

Somali Transitional Federal Government has once again reiterated that It will take over the control of all the country in the new year of 2010. Since Djibouti accord came into being and President Sheikh Shariif came to power being successor of Ex- president of Somalia , col. Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed, TFG is yet battling for its existence under the protection of African mission in Somalia .

 

TFG state minister for interior affairs, Mr. Abdirashiid Mohammed Hidig, attending a parliamentary gathering in Nairobi , Kenya has talked about TFG's imminent security plans towards Somalia in the gathering in which some Somali MPs have been

 

Mr. Hidig said in the gathering that Somali Transitional Federal Government would be determined to confiscate the control of entire Somalia and meet its security duties across the country during 2010. MR. Hidig's words comes after Islamists opposing Somali Transitional Federal Government are in the full control of many swathes in south/central Somalia .

 

“2010 is year we, Government institution members, do recognise a year when we do have to implement our federal principles the nationwide and we can achieve that if we stand in unity and face our mandate with bravery, hard decision and good morality ," Said Somali state minister for interior affairs.

 

Somali Prime Minister, Dr. Omar Abdirashiid Ali Sharmarke, already pointed out that his government was in process of a substantial preparation and would wring many parts in Mogadishu , which are not under his regime from Islamists who have great presence in Mogadishu in January.

 

to their side, Islamic - inspired militias battling to topple the UN backed government in Somalia have said that they are well attentive of TFG's Movements as well as they have said that they have become ready to counter TFG's awaited offensive.

xiinfaniin the sufis are already on board, and so far they are doing an excellent job in kicking out Al-shabaab from the central regions.

 

xiinfaniin we got beledweyne on lock and we still holding to the city without or with little goverment support. This shows that we can do it.

Wahbo has been taken last night from al-shabaab and al-sunnah wajamah got the place on lock.

All we have to do now is hold on to beledweyne and prepare inshallah to take over Jowhar
