Mogadishu (HOL) — The Banadir Regional Court, one of Somalia's busiest judicial bodies, is dealing with a critical shortage of judges as it handles its largest caseload in 2024, according to court chairman Salah Ali Mahmoud Dabaan. The overwhelming volume of cases has outpaced the court's ability to handle them efficiently, leading to significant delays.
