Italy supplies Somalia with four Bell military helicopters for anti-Shabaab operations

Mogadishu (HOL) — Somalia has reportedly acquired four Bell 412EPX helicopters, which would mark the largest military delivery to the country since the lifting of the arms embargo. Valued at $16 million, the helicopters were allegedly provided by the Italian government and transferred to Somali authorities earlier this week, according to Somali security analysts and military news outlets.
