a bolero/cardigan/jacket thingy would work for summer with the dresses.Like these for example...three quarter arms or full it's up to you.

 

 

 

I'm a big fan of the lightly embellished types myself,they add a little bit of sparkle if you cant be arsed to don the jewellry that day or if the dress is simple.

 

 

I'm into the romantic-ish blouse lookin' dresses over jeans.Light and practical.but I cant seem to find the time to go shopping.Im always at the wrong location at the wrong time.I need to get some stuff done.

 

 

 

I like some ethnic African print dresses but it's difficult to find one that isn't screaming out "I'm off to a Nigerian wedding".I'm gonna try my hand at making my own ,anyone tried it?

Lily I love the long flowing dresses you posted and those alike but since I'm 5"11 they usually turn out to be three quarter length..Lol..I'm just going to purchase the material from wholesale specialist stores and get them made.Hooyo knows best in this case so I should start listening to her...The world shows tall biijs no loof

 

I cant run away from comfy dresses and skirts because of my height.I'm gonna petition to Topshop...I mean they have the trousers and tops set(The tall range) but what about full length skirts and dresses?They never do 'em but yet they do it for the regular length collection :mad:

Actually, the DP ones might be a bit on the short side for you comapred to others. I tried on the one Sheh posted,(she must be very tall!) its so long its like a tent,I'm 5'7 & I tried it with my high wedges, it still sweeped the floor ( i think thats the idea).

 

Try Principles, they should have this very long looking dress in next few days (its online but not in the shops) , good luck.

^ tall aa? 5 foot 4ish and the ish is just to feel a lil taller. Yes, it does sweep the dhul which I hate but I intend to belt it! We'll see tomorrow how it turns out! Can't wait to wash it/shrink it.

 

P.S: doesn't DP have a Tall section?
