SayidSomal Posted January 4, 2010 in Qardho they chant: Alle ka cabsadde 'aids' kuma dhaco in Burco they chant: AIDS = American Idea Discouraging Sex as for the topic - the usual bile from the usual bile busher; who is more likely to have single handedly tarnishes the good name of Somalis people leave the good name somalis alone whether they be in burco or qardho.
Xaaji Dhagax. Posted January 4, 2010 @ Ibtisaaam lol@ there is no correlation between Aids and Qaat.....you having a lough! They chew Qaat and drink Alchol(Which by the way again is norm in Somaliland) then they look where to get a cheap sex and that is the connection!!!!!!!!! There was this Sheikh from Hargaysa who was on Universal TV and said that for a period of 6 months they recorded more 600 rape cases....all these factors contribute the increase of HIV/AIDS in Somaliland
Ibtisam Posted January 4, 2010 ^^^^^ 1) The Correlation is your theory and prediction of how behaviour is altered, not a statistical correlation in a study- we just have your word for it. Due to the social clan structure in Somalis- if there was a positive correlation between the two, it would be pretty difficulty to ignore the level of rape or sexual volitions- and it would’ve erupted in conflict by its sheer number. 2) As for the shike- again the key word is RECORDED. Nevermind angia aya Dhagax la hadley- waali.com Sayid cantrabaqash as usual.
Fabregas_Bruv Posted January 4, 2010 all ibtisam could do was talk about correlations and statisticalthingybalayo, whereas the dhagax brought compelling somali evidence like a second person account of a sheikhs words on universal tv. dhagax won hands down. Chocolate and Honey Posted January 4, 2010 Walee qabiil will never die down; it merely wears different clothes. Progressive or not, qabiiliste will always be qabiiliste. Somali people are to blame for the precise reason you think Somaliland isnt to blame. Maybe your 2010 resolution should be " See beyond my qabiil"? It lacks focus and has tribal overtones.

These people are not Somalilanders. They are extremist intent on delibrately interpeting the Quran to suit their extremist ideology. Many people have seemed to have confused that being a Somalilander means belong to a particular groups or clan. Somaliland is a political construct, it was arrived at after a point of consensus was agreed upon by its diverse poplace. Anyone can become a Somalilander so long as they have respect for the rule of law and want to live in peace. You just have to see major urban centres in Somaliland to realise this.
