I know , and Maakhiris have stopped violence going out of hand so many times, of course it is limited what anyone can do, specially when SSC are very committed, and want to make changes happen. Do you know HSM told Firdhiye to secure Erigavo, or similar ,to get full recognition as federal member state.

I also know for sure Cirro wants peace, the status quo helps SL.

It is the ridiculous two and a half rule for clan federalism that is driving the garaad community crazy. It could have been a lot easier if each original state was made a federal member.

Not every clan be a federal state people need to understand that  it’s just madness how many federal states can exist it makes no sense at all two regions or more is a good criteria  the Garaad clan should just be contend with with what they have. So far they have  65 percent of a region  and roughly half a district of togdheer which is buhoodle .  If they don’t want somaliland they can always join their bugland cousins .

Today maakhir have peace they do bussines they live in ceerigaabo and there is no issue  they have no issue with sl government there . In their own regions where they are the majority such as badhan hadaaftimo laasqoray ceelaayo xingalool  Dhahar , they lean towards puntland how ever one some occasions they raise the sl flag if it comes with funding and they regularly welcome somaliland ministers  when they feel like it . They have some troops on the sl side how ever these are just under the payroll of somaliland and can switch any time to puntland. Some times these somaliland troops under sl payrole welcome puntland officials in eastern Sanaag. The maakhirtes are much smarter then the Garaad clan  and work with whom ever they can to make their regions prosper . Back in 2022 they had a conference with muuse biixi in ceerigaabo  and he made some promises. Their sultan Abdislaan visits hargeisa from time to time has a house in ceerigabo. And there is no issue he keeps the peace with his Gadhweyn neighbours there is Hardly any conflict with the maakhir community
