Che -Guevara Posted August 6, 2009 Press Release The Southern Somali Union (SSU) and the Canadian Benadiri Association (CBA) are outraged by the mistreatment subjected to the deputy speaker of the Somali parliament honorable Professor Mohamed Omar Dalha at the hands of the Somali Ambassador in Nairobi, Mr. Mohamed Ali Nur (Amerika). It was reported by the Somali media yesterday August 5, 2009 that Ambassador Mohamed Ali Nur denied his Excellency Prof. Dalha access to the Somali delegation in Nairobi headed by President Sheikh Sharif Ahmed who is on a government mission. This despicable action of the Ambassador is unbecoming of a diplomat and transgresses against all the standards of a national and international diplomacy. According to the Somali charter Professor Dalha is the fourth highest ranking official of the transitional federal government, ranking after the president, the prime minister and the speaker. As a matter of fact the charter stipulates that in the event that a president and the speaker are outside the country, the deputy speaker officially assumes the rank of the head of the state. The deputy speaker is a man who has devoted most of his life fighting for peace and stability in Somalia. It strains our logic that a low level official such as an ambassador would execute orders that will deny access to the fourth highest ranking official of the government. It is unprecedented and rogue behavior that goes against the grain of sound public administration and diplomatic protocol. Because of his clan affiliation with the TFG president, Mr. Ali America has demonstrated that he is above the law and intentionally abused his power to humiliate publically his Excellency Professor Dalha. This blunder should never go unpunished. The SSU and CBA urge the President, the Prime Minister and the parliament to strip him of his diplomatic cover and terminate him from the position as the Somali Ambassador to Kenya effective immediately. We also call upon the President, and the Prime minister to publicly apologize to the deputy Speaker Professor Dalha. By taking this action the Somali government will demonstrate to the public that the rule of law always prevails above the whims of individuals. Che -Guevara Posted August 6, 2009 To think this man is diplomat working on behalf of the Somali government and people, humiliating one of the highest ranking officials in foriegn capital nonetheless
General Duke Posted August 6, 2009 They disrespected Dalxa for no reason. I would have Mr Dalxa as President or PM over most of the current TFG heads. He is a good man and holds an important position this silly Ambassador needs to learn his place.
Taleexi Posted August 6, 2009 Dr. Dalxa is not only a talented guy but a high ranking Somali official and doesn't deserve this. The funny thing is that this government's actions surprise you every now and then.

Tell the SSU, CBA, ASW, UUS, or any other trio you can pick that Dalxa should be in Xamar and part of the delegation seeing the President off during one of his foreign trips - and not in foreign capital cities welcoming the President. We have ambassadors and Diasporas for that role. Any thing other than that is pure rubbish.
