Cowke Posted April 2, 2010 I was surfing raxanreeb website and this is the new 5 star hotel that was being constructed in garowe that has been completed. Under Construction Congratulations reer garowe you got 5-star hotel in your town!!!! Bossaso has a two 5-star hotels like international village, and medina hotel. Galkayo Im not sure if hotel-tar city is classified as 5star but it's at least 3star. Anyways Wa guul u soo hooyatey shicibka garowe. I can't wait to see the new parliament buildings to be completed That is really going to be modern. A few new ministry buildings have been done and look good. Ministry of Education New Building I am guessing the other ministry building will look similar to ministry of education. Anyways garowe is moving up. Good work!!! nuune Posted April 2, 2010 Ummada waxey u baahantahay hospitals and clinics, and new primary schools and secondary, and not 5 star hotels, unless greedy businessmen are targetting NGO workers so they can stay at their hotels.
Cowke Posted April 2, 2010 Nuune, i agree to much time is being wasted in hotels and stuff. We need to first cover the basics such as education, health, infrastructure!!!! But as u said their is greedy business and infact this hotel in garowe is designated for ngo's
Cowke Posted April 2, 2010 Bendar Qassim Mall City Plaza Bossaso Bossaso Goldern Standard Mall Advertisement On Youtube Puntland Shopping Complex In Galkayo Puntland Shopping Complex Mekka Hotel In Bossaso Man I can't list the amount of crap we waste on. But what i want to see more of is infrastructure. Like roads,Hospitals, Schools. I really like this company called nugaal electric ccompany which is laying electricity grids through newer areas of garowe. Nugal Electricity Company PASWE Social Services In Puntland giving monthly welfare payments to old, disabled, idps, orphans and the most vulnerable people in the state. I think they give $50 a month to them. PASWE Social Services Road constructions like lafagoray road which connects two remote towns calula and hafun has been completed. Now they are working on the road that goes to hafun town. Roads connecting bender ziyada and las qoray is happening. But their still needs to be more done. They should be investing in those areas of health, education, infrastructure and of course security.
General Duke Posted April 2, 2010 Hotels create jobs, they are individual owned. Also they are easyyo set up in comparison to a school, hospital or roads. Thus there is no argument here. Vital infrustructure will cone as the states economy improves and it's government gets more revenues.

Naxar Nugaaleed Posted April 3, 2010 what kinda rating system are we using when we call this hotel a five star, the highest ranking of a a hotel besides the one or two self appointed six star hotels?
General Duke Posted April 3, 2010 ^^^ I doubt these hotald can be rated in such a mannaer, our Cowke is just being himself. They do look nice reletive to the poor standards in Somalia.
Cowke Posted April 3, 2010 This is the standard of hotels in somalia today. It will change gradually when the oil sector starts to kick in!!! Anyways it's all upwards from here. Ps: Some people are under impression that rome was built in a day, sorry to burst your bubble puntland is rebuilding and it started in 98 and 12 years on their doing ok or else we could just sit around and just wait for hamar to get their act together which we wasted 91-98 years doing!!!
