General Duke Posted October 11, 2010 Niina Adeer, he is in Yemen for medical reasons and the fact that he wanted to stay out of politics and give his successors a chance and the room to do their own thing. This is a remarkable move for many Somali's it's difficult to give up power. He reigned and retired for good and Yemen showed him a great deal of respect. If he is hated so much why are the current leadership visitng him? Again you are clutching to straws and making a fool of yourself like a Dalabay speech you are all over the place. Yemen is a close ally to Puntland, we share many things. And it's also much more advanced in terms of health provision to Somalia. Yusuf has been sick for two decades and needs certain medical requirement that can not be provided at home. He lives in a plush Villa afforded to him without tax layers money and gets a great deal of support. A man of no stature would not be afforded such retirement no would people visit him. Thus try again, the old man is a Titan who even in retiremnt brings envy and hatred from those who's leaders have failed them.

Somalina Posted October 11, 2010 Abdiqasim or Nur Cadde were not Warlords. Most of the hot blooded Somalis know their history.

General Duke Posted October 11, 2010 Abdiqasin & Nur Cade were members of the Siyad Barre regime that bombed Haragysa and killed so many civilians. Abdiqasin was the man who as President armed Yusuf IndaChade, Goobanle, Seeraar, Daylaaf, and others of his sub clan to forefully occupy the southern regions of Somalia. A single sub clan colonial occupation. But Niina knows best.
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted October 11, 2010 Actually Nur cade is a good diplomat he was a police commander during the siyad bare regime he never invited Ethiopian troops in somalia he was the one who politically removed Yey the warlord from office and forced him to resign.Which resulted the withdrawal of the occupation forcess. As for Abdiqasim salaad hassan he was also against the Ethiopian occupation of somalia.

Also he never invited Ethiopian troops to help out to fight in a small town called Buhudle for the weakness of the SNM. And he was a great man for fighting the man who appointed him as PM, and survived less than a month after Yusuf resigned.
The Zack Posted October 11, 2010 I agree that Noor Cadde and Abdiqasim are good Somali citizens. They tried to save Somalia but they haven't gotten the proper resources to help them do so. Let's differentiate apples from oranges.

General Duke Posted October 11, 2010 Xaji: Now you sound desperate, oh I forgot you are part of the mighty SNM who called for Ethiopian support to enter Cayn and were chased out. Oh I forget your "Navy" was AWOL when the ONLF made monkeys out of you and you had to call Abdi Iley to help out. Oh I am sorry you are still part of Somalia after 20 years of dancing for the colonial masters and begging everyone. "the Child born in Addis is closer to us than the one born in Mogadishu" we know who said that and it was one of your greatest leaders. Go act brave somewhere elese.
