Kenyan MPs and Senators Visit Somaliland Mission in Nairobi

Kenyan Members of Parliament (MPs) and Senators visited the Somaliland Mission Office in Nairobi.

The lawmakers drawn from the National Assembly and Senate visited the Somaliland Mission to discuss several issues.

Some of the issues discussed included promoting the participation of women in politics as well as the inclusion of women in decision making.

Officers at the Somaliland mission learned from the experiences of the Kenyan lawmakers.

Unlike Kenya, Somaliland continues to struggle with the issue of women in politics and exercising their influence in decision making.
