Dhagax-Tuur Posted June 16, 2009 Given what I read so far, I have to agree with whoever that deleted it. Remember, though, the forum is Muslim - majority forum, and modest is a must in all discussions. I never understood, however, why this doesn't apply to the Poo-litics part. Kii nac nac keenaba tir-tira, please. SomaliaOnline educates and informs, not a place for the degenerates to get together....
Goodir Posted June 16, 2009 ^Stop the deadly fatwa. It was only a link. When posts disppear like Iranian opposition votes, pls get in touch with relevant moderator and all shall be explained. The Guardian Council(the baby) isn't keen on topics about complaints either. Poor sherban Shabeel must the the foreign reporters banned coverage. No breaking the forum rules. In other words, you made the call to get rid of something you didn't even watch. Nice going there! Correct, I tried to watch it but with no success. I erred on the side of caution as you called it graphic yourself. Had you not called it graphic I would not have concerned myself over it particularly. Graphic shots of vaginas are inappropriate for this forum. Doesn't have to be porn.

Sherban Shabeel Posted June 18, 2009 So it's cool to post links of gruesome pics of dead kids in Xamar, over in the politics section. But it's not cool to post a link to a documentary which *includes* some vagina shots but is actually about how women view themselves, in the women section. Ducaysane Posted June 18, 2009 Wouldn't all the vagina shots graphic? Is there a section that is Ok to take a shot. I dont have one and never seen one, so pardon my curousity.

Chocolate and Honey Posted June 18, 2009 Lol@ Ducaysane. Huuno stop intestigating the issue for I see you're only pushing it to further inflame the matter at hand. And to answer your silly Question, No there is no less precious part to display for WHATEVER reason.
Ducaysane Posted June 18, 2009 Cholocate and Honey, I agree with you 100%, there is no less precious part in it. FYI, Do you know that there are 300 million people in India who worship it.

I don't venture over to Politics; I break out in hives. If you find something that contravenes the forum rules, get in touch with MMA. As for this now legendary documentary- I didn't imagine the entire thing was one literal, long visual foray into a woman's 'underworld'. I did expect some attempt into 'how a woman views herself'. However, private bits are private bits and graphic is graphic- whether it's a few minutes here and ther sandwiched between whinges, self-loathing & the odd suffering woman- is immaterial. It's gotta go. Uncomfortable images are now di rigeur to gain and keep an audience; such is the dumbed-down nonsense we have to put up with. A little controversy also goes a long way- as this topic proves. Much ado about nothing.
Chocolate and Honey Posted June 19, 2009 FYI, Do you know that there are 300 million people in India who worship it. Hmm.. by any chance, are they all men? Worship is a bit ehem.. how do you say extreme, not that I blame them. Who could, it is simply divine
Sherban Shabeel Posted June 19, 2009 gotta love controversy dude, your determination is admirable. Perhaps focus it on something constructive? [ June 19, 2009, 07:36 AM: Message edited by: sheherazade ]
