Can I say Michael Maryam and his wife were a positive contribution to Somalis as whole, particularly during the unification/ independence years. His party was one of the first to break the clan exclusivity and embrace members from across the country. Further more if Somaliland and Somalia had listen to his advise of stabilizing individually before rushing to a Somaliland almost forced union, we may not be in this mess haad. Btw: Although himself a Christian, he was not a preacher, his private belief is between him and Allah, BUT him and his wife had 11 children who all become Muslim. That is a big contribution to Islam, would you not agree? P.s. His poster objecting to the treatment of the said man or is he suggesting mass persecution of Christians in Somaliland? I have this relative, a brother whose mom is none but Michael Maryam's own Kafirah sister, he is too a muslim and all his children are muslims too they now live Arizona, USA.
