The rest of the states joined HSM initially because he gave term extension, but right now, they don't want extension because they will be situation as HSM come 2026. Meaning their mandate would end and won't be in position to select MPs who in turn selects the president. More importantly, HSM will be in control the proposed 18 member federal election commission.
