Hunguri Posted April 10, 2007 Originally posted by Dabshid: Hunguri Ashoor works for Puntland, Dabshid, and what alternatives do you guys have??? if you guys execute every man that rises his head with a leather injection. Im sure, we guys at the diaspora fight behind the monitors, and never rise a pound of fund rise, let alone putting our words into action. I do stand for Ashoor for he does not accept cheap offers, and what ever of support he gets from Puntland that shines from the faces of those boys, whom guys at the diaspora never bothers to set up a system for them, that can prevent them from the interest of S-land and Puntland. Hence, as long as he is within the boundries of his teritory. Indeed he is a hero. PS:- Maakhir,Dabshid, and M, I wont have an objection if you guys come up an action that can stop these boys with the uniform from the influence of both S-land and Puntland. But, no empty words! Paragon Posted April 10, 2007 Who do you think you are, gandhi? Maakhir, Maansa, Hunguri iyo Dabshid, indeed I agree, traitors should always be executed. Now, my brothers of the region, or shall I say, tolkaygoow . As you have already mentioned, there are alot of deficiences in minding the business of the region as of now. There is a power-struggle between two regional states to have control over it. And as I see it, choosing one above the other has its consequences and also its limitations. Therefore, it becomes imparative that the region must seek a third alternative, in the form of 'Danwanaag'. A good name actually - sounds abit socialist, but I like it . So, what next? Lets say the choice is made and the literature (constitution) of this new state is laid out- what becomes its aim? To remain independent of all other states or to be independent only when it applies to Somaliland and Puntland? Shall this new state make its destination the creation of overall legitimate Somali Republic Government? A new state would need a great deal of things; it would need sufficient economic and political outlets/inlets in relation to other international states. How would these economic outlets become available? You need trading infrastructure such as ports, airports, roads and so on. Most of all, the state must have something to sell to others which is always in demand? Starting work on LaasQorey port is a good initiative and if successful, I am sure the roads and other necessary infrastructure would follow. The problem is, in the meantime, where would needed materials for this contruction come through? Can they come directly to LaasQorey?
