Sky Posted July 1, 2005 Jumatatu, if Suudi, Qanyare etc militias werent seen advancing slowly to Jowhar with obvious cruel intentions on their minds combined with Muqdisho media hatemongering through lies and deceit. President Yusuf would be in Jowhar enjoying a nice evening stroll through the town right now.

I guess it did not work.. . Mohamed Dheere can make all the war cries he wants, Geedi can go on declaring that the temporary capital city is Jowhar and so on. We all know where that is coming from and where it is leading to..I dont think the priorities are Jowhar at the moment am sure the 'scrap-merchants' in Mogadishu have something else in their minds..keep on watching this space.. . By the way Sky shouldn't you be worried about the in-clan assasinition in North Galkacyo, the power struggle between the nou and old camps in Bosaso and so forth?

Northern Gaalkacyo is finally against all the odds and the numerous savage invasions more peaceful and prosperous than ever before. Albeit developing in a slower rate than Garoowe and Bossaso, developing nonetheless. And its an utmost certainty that they do not want to risk all that just for another meaningless, endless clan vendetta.

Is it unacceptable to have a better president thna Yey?
contraflow Posted July 2, 2005 Nope that isn't the reason. Somalia's problem is greater than A/Y, what was the reason for the fall of Abdiqassim's gov and the one before it? This government has already failed, so what happens next another fake peace talk which equals time wasted, well I'm sick of it and so are a lot of people. Lets not make it out that A/Y is the only problem because he isn't.The warlords of Xamar don't want a government no matter how they dress the reasons, the people of Somalia want a government no matter where they live in the world. However, their clan pride rises above their need for government. So I suggest everyone run and lead their own land. Therefore making some sort of law and order, since that cannot be achieved together as we lack trust towards each other lets do it on a small scale and leave each other in peace. Lets just be good neighbours.
