Che -Guevara Posted January 20 Is HSM and his gang receptive to Awdal state? Or would he continue appeasing Bixiye or even back down if Abiy nullifies the agreement and issues a formal apology?
galbeedi Posted January 20 Che, Will find out this in a few days. All we need is resources like weapons, will do the rest and finish off the secceionist project.
Che -Guevara Posted January 20 I understand arms and ammunition have been pouring into Awdal. Like SSC, any initial fight will be shouldered by reer Awdal. The rest of the Somalis will join with men and material. HSM has been doing well diplomatically speaking, let's hope he backs his rhetoric with actual actions. He needs to make peace with Deni and Laftagareen as well.
Arafaat Posted January 20 I understand why Ethiopia wouldn’t care about igniting another local tribal war, as it’s already engulfed in tribal conflicts. But I don’t understand why any leader in Somaliland would take the risk to spark a fire that would be the fuel and justification for an armed rebellion. Clearly we have not learned anything from the recent events and our recent history?
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted January 20 Muuse should avoid awdal all together when it come to the sea out let for Ethiopia he should give them eelsheikh which will do the same which is even better for their logistics , this will avoid the clan tensions between the main Awdal clan and the rest. Problem solved

Illyria Posted January 20 The most armed and ready to fight force in the Somali peninsula now is that of SSC-Khatumo, and if the Awdal conflict turns violent, they will join, as so has been agreed between the parties.
Illyria Posted January 20 The route from Dirir Dhabe to Ceel Sheekh passes by Gebiley by way of Kalabaydh cutting through Hargeysa's Jigjiga Yar, a xaafad in Hargeysa. Kalabaydh, Tog Wajaale, and Gebiley are shared cities. Tog Wajaale to Ceel Sheekh is just over 120 miles. Dirir Dhabe to Ceel Sheekh is 260 miles. So, let me see if I understand it correctly, you are willing to allow Habasha to traverse, and stampede through vast land connecting Adis Ababa to Ceel Sheekh? And you are willing to allow a potential enemy access to all that prime land incl. prime coastal land only 60 miles away from Berbera, the prime source of revenue of the State (78% of revenue is sourced through Berbera port). Then, technically, Waqooyi Galbeed is part of Ethiopia. We may then have to get reer Togdheer revolt in uprising. Let that settle in.
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted January 20 wajaale is already half half Ethiopia the Ethiopian would feel very comfritable we can even go a little bit far more west up to Abdi geedi , no clan from the borama clan say anything as it solely belongs to Muse biihi subclan, there wont be any tensions from abdi geedi to ali xaydh all the way to wajaale wil go through the land of Muse subclan and no one can say anything or protest. If Muse wants to do this and make it happen this is the way forward and he will not get protest , the only thing he has to do is convince his clan maybe give them a cut of the Ethiopian airlines i dont know thats the only way he should avoid the Awdal clan alltogether. the only thing is we need to do is build altarnative roads if the ethiopians can get chinese investment to build a short cut road. by the way why woudl reer togdheer protest that will never happen

Illyria Posted January 21 You come across as if you are not moored to reality, and your thoughts do not seem as those of a person whose cerebral cortex is fully formed or functional, that is why.
