Arafaat Posted January 16 As we are witnessing the latest development of the Ethiopian-Somaliland Red Sea deal the risks of, exacerbating existing regional tensions and the potential ignition of a regional wide conflict in the Horn of Africa, have significantly increased. Ever since the Somali-Ethiopian war of 1977, conflicts in the region have been largely contained within the boundaries of countries in the Horn of Africa. But now for the first time in half a century we are seeking significant risk and possibility of a regional wide conflict in the region that could engulf all the countries in the Horn in a devastating war beyond National borders. Duufaan Posted January 16 Netanyahu says Israel will cut Gaza off from Egypt, taking control of Palestinian enclave’s remaining border | CNN AMP.CNN.COM The border between Egypt and Gaza must be closed to stop the flow of ‘military equipment and other deadly weapons’, the Israeli Prime Minister... This may have something to do as well. Putting pressure on Egypt to accept a deal in gaza. + accepting Gazans in Sina peninsula. The devil in the house. This whole thing is bigger than Ethiopia navy in Somalia sea. Abiya knows something we don’t know for now. He may finally accepted the Ethiopian role of facilitating. Che -Guevara Posted January 16 Duufaan, Abiy knows nothing. If he did, he wouldn't be crippling Ethiopia from within. He barely controls from the two largest regions. A war with Somalis might finish him off.

Egypt is bankrupt and Alsisi is not reliable. Both countries rely on IMF loans. Ethiopia is receiving new loans from the IMF to buy its debt. That means Abiya and his relationship with West improving.
Che -Guevara Posted January 16 There is so much the West can do. And he is not reliable 'partner.'
