IRELAND: Somali woman Layla Hussein Ali, 22, victim in fatal Donegal road collision

Dublin (HOL) - In a sombre beginning to the new year, the community of Donegal is mourning the loss of Layla Hussein Ali, a 22-year-old Somali national, following a tragic road accident. Ms. Ali, a resident of Ireland since March 2023, met a tragic end on the N56 road near Illistrin at around 7 p.m. on Friday, marking the first road fatality in Donegal in 2024.
