Saalax Posted January 2 According to bloomberg sea access was exchanged for a mere shares in Ethiopian airlines (most likely Muse Bihi himself or his relatves). There is no recognition deal. Now with that in mind what do residents of the coastal areas of Berbera and Djibouti benefit from this deal? all it will do is take away money from Berbera and Djibouti ports will become unviable as 120million Ethiopians will no longer be forced to use it as they have a free port. Che -Guevara Posted January 2 Nothing Somali politicians do ever benefit the people. Muse Biixi should have been forced to hold elections long ago or resign. He is lucky in that he has a weak opposition who seems obsessed with kursiga instead of the interest of the people. 1

I agree he should have been taken out at his weakest after 25 August.

Tallaabo Posted January 2 The stip of land probably bigger than Gaza which warlord Muuse is giving away to Ethiopia will quickly be flooded with millions of Oromos and Afar, creating a de facto Ethiopian province in our own country. This new foreign region will cut off the Somalis in Djibouti from those of Somaliland and Somalia, completely isolating them. This isolation will weaken them and enable Ethiopia to help the Afar take over Djibouti. After getting access to the sea, Ethiopia will then be even more aggressive in pushing the Somalis in Ethiopia off their land and threaten every other region from the sea. This disaster waiting to happen must be stopped before it is too late. 1

Our only hope is the youth who, thank God, have been expressing their anger. Before this mad move, the young people in the North and less extent Pland were already troubled by the endless flow of Oromo into Somali cities and towns. But look it from this Angle Somalia can never claim Somaliland on the basis of shared ethnicity if there are Galla minoroity and affars part of Somaliland. I have spoken with allot of Koonfurians in the past , i always ask why are u not attached to Djibouti as u are to Somaliland and they always say the Djiboutians are not all fully Somalis we dont claim them, But Somaliland is 100 percent Somali so we will claim their Land. Now this can be a blessing a disguise if we have our own Ethnic Minority along side the Afro hashemites. , gallas and affars as a small minority in Somaliland as we now even have a houthi minorty in Somaliland

Could it be our out of control dictator is having the same thoughts? Today they might be a minority but very quickly you will be the new minority.

Unfortunately, it might come down to playing his game. Xaaji, Have you seen what Oromos have been doing to the Amharas living among them and to their neighboring regions including the Somali region? Once they outnumber you, you are screwed. If you want to know how Abiy and his Oromo will treat Slanders, look at Ethiopia.
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted January 2 There are now maybe around 5000 gallas in Somaliland and Hargeisa and wajaale how much can it increase 30.000 we can still live with that they still wil be a minority we should just also breed allot they can never outnumber us besides every few years they will be send back to Ethiopia they cant ever be a real threat to the demographics of Somaliland
