Approach, if wise diplomats and sharp political leaders were in charge of our affairs:
a) Lead with the SL deal with FGS acting as the guarantor, and final authority,
    i) Bring SL into the fold, as the State (FMS),
    ii) Bring reer Awdal into the negotiations, as stakeholders.

b) Tie the case of S Galbeed to the "access to sea" deal, and into the conversation, where Ethiopia shall legally agree S Galbeed being Somali territory.
    i) You want sea? Give up our occupied land! Check mate.

Let Abiy chew on that.

How are  you going to bring somaliland as a federal member state  when  you have failed to reach an ageeement with them. After 12 years of talks  and the whole issue is all about Somaliland the Ethiopians are blackmailing the bunker to recognise Somaliland if u don’t give them a sea . Let’s  even say Ethiopia agrees to give up somali kilil in exchange for a sea out let  how are u going to enforce this in Somaliland . Let say  u make an agreement with  Ethiopia  how are u going to enforce it in Somaliland

The talks have collapsed  the Turks have failed Ethiopia remained firm to their mou deal with Somaliland they were only willing to get rid of it if they got a better offer . The Turkish led negotiations between Somalia and Ethiopia in Ankara ended without any results. The Somali delegation is traveling to Egypt tonight.

You have missed the tenor of the strategy. SL would be a major benefactor, but then again, you would have to be a bone fide Somali to grasp the gist of it.

How would somaliland benefit from being part of a failed state country  and with what incentive can the bunker lure  Somaliland to be part of their failed country. You do know the real reason why Somalilanders choose to unite with Somalia was because we wanted to get our hawd and reserve area back from Haile sellasie . Now this same Somalia is making deals with Ethiopia what a crazy world we live in

How would a war between Somalia and Ethiopia look like and where will it be fought what area 

If there is ever going to be a military conflict between Ethiopia and Somalia. Somalia needs to get rid of the Ethiopia troops. That’s the only way they can win

the  prerequisite for Somali to participate should have been, Ethiopia to denounce the MOU and respect the Somalia territorial. If that is not achieved there should not have been a meeting.

this shows the team we sent to Ankara does not even now the basic of mediation.

No mediation if the two side can not agree simple principal.

 

I thought Türkiye is going to defend our see, way do we need Ethiopian agreement
