UCID chairman, Islamic Sharia and South reconcilation

Eng. Faysal Ali UCID chairman and Candidate for Somaliland presidency, in his speech in Burao proposed two points that clearly distances him from the other two candidates.

 

First He proposed the implementation of Islamic Sharia in Somaliland, without detailing the ways and methods of the implementation, fully or partial etc.

 

 

Secondly He proposed to host Somalia reconciliation conferences in Hargiesa, yet he clearly stated his stand on Somaliland's independence "dadka reer Somaliland-na mardanbe ku noqon maayaan Xamar oo waa innaga xaaraan"

Faisal wants to host Somalia Reconcilation confrence for the koonfurians, But Somalilands independence is sacred it has nothing to do with the confrence.

'Sh.Hotel' has no effect in the reality, hence if he embraces scientific socialism or divine right monarchism it will have the same impact on the ground which is nothing, but Faisel might become the next president of Somaliland, his agenda will have effect over the track the country will take, so having such ambiguous objectives is quite disturbing.

Faysal is a former guulwade in the revolution days and is still guulwade. He knows how to make living whether he sings Guulwadow siyaad or soomaaliland. His goal is to earn for living. Nothing else. Same goes, with those poeple who brought him to laascaanood.

His whole position, power and legitimacy are not in place, and you are worried about his "shariah" project

So if Somaliland's case is a Unrealistic and Delusional you say in very poor way nonetheless.

 

Then what would Somali Wayn be realistic, if it is Show me one Somali political leader or group that supports that idea and fully embraces it, you cannot allow Djibouti to choose independence and deny Somaliland the same right, and you cannot give up on claiming Western Somalia and NFD while still claim Somaliland, based on the failed Greater Somalia scheme.
