i like the part when he accuses Um Kalthoom of being barren and her youth life wasted and sarcastically wondering why would she rather get a pet dog instead of adopting a child from her village.

The SNM was a clan struggle that could simply be cross compared with the USC, in terms of its reactionary creation and lack of a long term vision. Like the USC, waves of clan energy were released in neighboring regions in which the SNM charter termed as “enemy clans”. Although short term material bounties were gained, there overall accomplishments are illustrated through the creation of Muusa Suudi likes by the USC and the notorious dictator Riyaale in the north.

 

Similar to the USC, the SNM immediately disintegrated into rival sub-clans, thus concluding the unjust clan struggle into the blood bath of Yuroowe. Secessionist often parade about the SNM, as if they bear the fruits of their legacy. After Cigaal’s election, your Mujaahids that you parade about were side lined, arrested and even exiled like our good old Abdiraxman Tuur. Today, Riyaale and his band sing for you the same old tune Cigaal sang (the recognition song) and distracts your focus with Laascaanood. In conclusion the SNM gang failed completely, their expansion dreams were defeated and the boundary remains to be Ceerigaabo as it always was. You fought a dictator only to replace another dictator.

 

Although the ONLF could be criticized for many ill decisions, nevertheless the direction of their struggle is heroic and should be welcomed by all ethnic Somali’s. I disagree with many policies and approaches, but fully applaud for the aims of the organization, which is to gross rights, god given sovereignty and a sustainable prosperity for the marginalized Somali’s.
