Thankful Posted June 23, 2010 Oodweyne, it's baby steps. When someone from Sanaag eventually become President of Puntland, then Erigavo will slowly realize which government gives them more oppurtunity to lead. Your's is dominated by one group!
Thankful Posted June 23, 2010 I agree, that is the situation now, however I believe when someone eventual becomes president things will change. We will see! I agree that right now Riyaale can come and the go and the people there support him. You are right no one from Sanaag has been president, nor do I believe ever ran. (You can correct me if I am wrong). However if this does not change, then people will eventually become fed up and demand change, and will not welcome the NW Somali President just like Lascaanod does not. Cowke Posted June 23, 2010 oodweyne if puntland wanted to attack somaliland they wouldn't last long but their is no strategic importance for us to attack hargeisa because what do we get from it? it won't help us advance our political program because the political scenery in somaliland is 1 of darkness with no light at the end of the tunnel. I know that puntland can defeat somaliland for simple logical reasons. Firstly puntland is alot more battle hardened then somaliland because we are the forefront at galkayo and also in hamar. Secondly as for our economies puntland is way larger then somaliland economy because somaliland economy is depedent on the port at berbera and the berbera port is not very active at all and if it was waxay ka muuqen lahayd berbera. So really somaliland don't have soldiers that battle hardened nor do they have the funds required to pursue a war. Where-as puntland does have the funds to pursue a war. Puntland has booming port plus also $100 million piracy money that comes annually. Just go watch the videos of the snm boasting about capturing puntland weapons and watch them say "its all brand new" and the sad part when we do fight somaliland sxb it's not a war what we call a war is what happens in hamar or what happened in galkayo 92. So boasting doesnt help when boasting defeats simple logic. At the end of the day sxb the best somaliland can do is "run and hide and close the door and hope the big bad monsters of the south dont come and get them" that is all they can do and that is what they are doing. But when the big bad monsters are done in the south they will grab the little cat thats locked herself up in the room and own her as should be the case. Cowke Posted June 23, 2010 oodweyne why do you think somali politicians put somaliland on the ignore? you won't hear about the snm in hamar because sxb the fact is, a weakness has already been spotted in the snm camp. We know that they run away and are hiding out and hoping for the best. But they can never tussle with the big boys but they can hide and hope the big boys destroy each other this is the only gameplan can play. Bananka isma keenin karan waa laga tira badan yahay wa laga dhaqaale badan yahay waan laga hub badan yahay
Cowke Posted June 23, 2010 Oodweyne never forget that ur tussling with the small dblock clans not the larger dblock clans. Just puntland itself can take on the snm with no assistance. We dont take tigrays to hargeisa sxb we dont need to

Thankful Posted June 23, 2010 Originally posted by Oodweyne: ^^You are still missing the argument by mile ; but, I guess, that should be expected from you, indeed. Since, if you know anything about Sanaag in general or even in Erigavo in particularly, then, you would of at least known that the situation of Erigavo has been this way ever since 1991 ; regardless of whoever was the president of Somaliland, indeed... It's a common tactic of yours to accuse the other person of having no clue of what they are talking about. I've notice you use it quite a few times. Regardless, I will say this one last time. I agree that Erigavo has been pro NW Somalia admin since 1991! However, if Puntland names Reer Sanaag as president, this may change that. Especially if NW Somalia continues to marginalize that side. Some of Sanaag is already divided in their allegiances and may turn even more in favor of the Puntland Government if it continues to represent them more! But of course you believe that since things have been a certain way, they are incapable of changing.
