He should've by now realised that putting people in prison doesn't change a single thing on the reality on the ground. Qaran Party leaders have come out of prison stronger and with even more supporters than they had before. The only looser in here is the UDUB regime and Daahir Riyaale in particular. A.J. Posted December 19, 2007 mr Africa the supreme courts are only to blame to a certain extent for asserting the detention of the politians being correct in terms of what the constitution says. However it is Riyaale duty and obligation to ensure that issues such as these are handled in a manner which serves somaliland, its people and its goal of gaining international recoqnition best. whatever he may have done in his presidency, not much of that has been forwarding the case of somaliland's recognition.
