mantra Posted December 2, 2006 By mad I mean crazy, berserk, bonkers, whacko..a nut! So when exactly does the process begin? When you start talking to yourself? when you entertain deranged thoughts? when you pass hours without moving a muscle? when you cry and laugh at the same time? when you know the exact number of the weird patterns on your carpet but you have trouble remembering your surname? or should I take solace in the fact that since most lunatics dont really know when they're going crazy, im safe?

sheherazade Posted December 2, 2006 Is there such a term as 'mad' in the medical dictionary? If you feel troubled, find someone to talk through it with; defining it can wait.

Nomen nescio Posted December 3, 2006 you can't say someone is mad until the sh!t hits the roof and the person gets physical and/or verbuly abusive. everything else is just being weird/odd/strange or whatever you want to call it.

Socod_badne Posted December 4, 2006 You know you've gone mental when after you get home and turn-off the lights, your bet cat plaintively says, "oh no, not again tonight!"
Ibtisam Posted December 4, 2006 ^^^that is more than mad." When you think you are mad, you normally are. If you are unsure and you make a post about it, then still some hope, get some help girl. And don't worry, you'll be fine. My roommate at uni went mad, You can always tell, but too afarid to say untill they do something really radical. Resistance Posted December 4, 2006 u only mad when u admit to be sane, if u think you going crazy it means u still have the capicity to realise u are just under pressure and somewhat little stressed or depressed which is perfectly normal. the cure: read the holy quraan and some heart warming stories about the stuglles those less fortunate than u
UglyGeekyWoman Posted December 4, 2006 Some People go mad because they have been molested in their childhood. And they refute that fact about them to others. Sadly to say, consequence to their lack of actions in that matter will not only hurt them but many people around them (directly and indirectly). Eventually that individual will develop a conniving sense of mentality which leads them to lose their mind. Behaviors to deduct if you are losing you mind is: If u encouraged someone to take a step that u YOURSELF is not willing to take, if u r invading someone else private matters, making them believe that you are helping them when in fact you are just seeking more gossip tales for the dinner table. if u are in love with someone/people who in actuality dislike you and your disturbing atmosphere (AKA your bizarreness) if you have no friends (virtual friends are excluded) If you know that you are a weak being. If that’s you or not, either ways you need to seek a outside help other than your MOTHER
Pucca Posted December 5, 2006 there's really no such thing as 'mad' or 'insane' ...most 'different' folks have simply embraced the 'happier' side of life...something the rest of you 'regulars' shall never know. A pity really. *resumes convo with sally...the wall*
