This was a bold decision, and a good development, which spared dithering PL political leaders as to the direction. Actually Garaado did both SSC & PL a favour.

As previously agreed among all Issimo incl. Garaado, the plan was to delay the separation after the election, but now is as good as any.

Yes it is not simple to decouple , some communities of SSC were fully integrated to PL for 25 years

The best thing for PL is 1M1V, even remov Deni admin, , caretaker Gov in place and put 1M1V  once in life time fix.

The problem with PL is  opposition, Traditional leaders, current leaders are NOT honest brokers, but very selfish

What SSC khaatumo xildhibaada are talking about? 

It has become obvious to me that 17 xuldhibaan from SSC was always used as ladder to presidency in PL

Consistency, predictability and rationality are the key characteristics in the rule of law. For Khatuma-SSC to become a credible administration or representative body based on the agreed rules and principles, it makes sense not to remain an integral part of Puntland state structures.  The Garaads have made a very rational decision in the interest of their people, and it’s important everyone accepts their decisions, irrelevant of the clan affinities, solidarity and support.

Yes it is temporarily difficult for PL but long term success for both of them.
