Ethiopia has become a source of instability and a threat to all its neighbors even Kenyans and South Sudanese.

Perhaps for the first in their history, some Amharas are contemplating a separate country for Amharas. That shows how unpopular Abiy has become and how unlikely non Oromos will fight for Abiy in Somalia. It will indeed explode in his face.

Even some calling for Eritrea-Amhara-Tigray Christian alliance against the Oromo, not sure how feasible that is on the short run but definitely on the long run Oromo expansionist politics might lead to a dangerous reshaping of regional dynamics.

The level of animosity between Tigray vs Amhara and Eritrea will be hard to overcome. And there's the land dispute between Tigray and Amhara. Aferwerki despises TPLF. A lot has change for better before these groups unite.
