I am looking forward to the day when there is a direct flight from London to Berbera.

And the plane is not that big even Hargeisa airport can handle this plane, but Hargeisa airportrunway is not as hard as berbera one

That is true couz. Local flight won't work in Somaliland. Maybe Ceergaabo would need it in the future but how many people would travel to Ceergaabo in weekly bases? I don't know. Daalo tried Hargeisa to Burco in the summer and that didn't work either because of the reasons you mationed above.

 

Most people enjoy landing Hargiesa and staying there for few days, meeting with relatives there then traveling to Burco or Borama by car. It's so refereshing to drive through those mountains in either side of the capital. It's only 2 to 3 hours drive.
