Libaax-Sankataabte Posted November 1, 2004 HornAfrique, this is a big news. I hope this new development brings a lasting peace to Somalia. Yalaxow is the most powerful warlord in Mogadishu. No warlord commands more men and military power than Yalaxow. The other important thing is that Yaloxow is known to be an honest man. If he promises something, he will deliver unlike Caato. Ilaahow Somali nabad ku hanuuni.

BN Posted November 1, 2004 He Speaks! This is certainly a big boost for the new government and its efforts to bring peace and security to the capital and surrounding region. One knows that this government will be different when a man such as Muuse Suudi makes such a significant political turnabout. Waa waaga cusub. P.S. Any truth to the rumours that he will be named governor of Banadir?

Gabbal Posted November 1, 2004 The other important thing is that Yaloxow is known to be an honest man. Indeed he is! Wasn't he the man who came up with the legendary shoe analogy? One knows that this government will be different when a man such as Muuse Suudi makes such a significant political turnabout This is indeed a big development and gives the survival of this government more hope. With the support of Muuse Suudi, Abdulahi Yusuf and the transitional government can only go forward from here on.

Rahima Posted November 1, 2004 Let’s hope he keeps to his word, I don’t expect much from warlords and warlords turned president. We can only have hope. he will deliver unlike Caato Not only is he a warlord (as if that wasn't bad enough), but also a businessman. Businessmen along with politicians usually have one thing in common, they’re accomplished liars and deceivers (unless they have taqwa).

Libaax-Sankataabte Posted November 1, 2004 ^^ They all are including Aweys, Indhocadde, Jimcaale and all the Al-Itixaad-politicians-wadaads with the large militias. All are businessmen, all have militias, all are accused of decieving the Somali people. Who do we trust Rahima? Who do you have in mind with piety?
