Seekknowledge Posted January 26, 2008 I noticed every time there is some good news from the country some SOL members get angry. Why? Stability is more important than personal pride. We might not like the current government or the opposition but the reality is people need stability and that means working towards peace. The opposition's road side bombs is killing more innocent somalis than ethiopians and giving more excuses for ethiopians to remain in the country. Swallow your pride guys. Let the children get education. Let 'em have a future.
Gar-haye Posted January 26, 2008 Your diagnosis is probably right doc. now if they could all come back to reality and embrace freedom, so that the resistant can move forward and concentrate energy and resources on getting rid of the evil dreaded Ethiopians. Gar-haye Posted January 26, 2008 seekknowledge, how can we move forward towards peace when some are assembling forces to protect the criminals and those who held hostage Somalia for so long? Perhaps if we all stood one side and fought the Ethiopians as Somalis, so many of us wouldn't suffer and get caught in the crossfire. Your only excuse against the oppositions seems to be the methods they employ. "The opposition's road side bombs is killing more innocent Somalis than Ethiopians"; which doesn't adequate to absolving the resistance and surrendering ourselves. Besides, I am sure the resistance would perfect there methods and device better strategies as time goes on.

Seekknowledge Posted January 26, 2008 some are assembling forces to protect the criminals and those who held hostage Somalia for so long? Both sides are protecting criminals who held somalis hostages for years. Since there is not much to choose then let the criminals (from both sides) give a break to the innocent people. A whole generation is lost because of them. Don't add a new one. I agree with you we need to stand on one side as somalis. Why do you have to choose the one which causes more harm than good? Sabriye amp co. Posted January 26, 2008 Seek knowledge .. You can not possibly compare a road side bomb killing and the indiscriminate shelling of a city. The side which does by far inflict most harm on our people is evident. The opposition carries out attacks that are either poorly managed or badly handled at times. But what we do know is that the opposition did not resort to any of these desperate tactics that are rather difficult for any one to manage with out flaws before the Ethiopians invaded. So in order to reverse this horrific scene in Somalia, we need to first eject the invaders. Eliminate the catalyst (warlords). Let oppositions sit down and reach a viable solution in the form of reconciliation.

Seekknowledge Posted January 26, 2008 And in the process wipe out the innocent. What is the difference between indiscriminate road side bomb and indiscriminate shelling? You say the oppositions sit down. Sit down with who themselves? They are the ones refusing to sit down. How can warlords eliminate other warlords?
