Hargeisa (HOL) - Amid escalating conflict in the contested city of Las Anod, the Government of the Republic of Somaliland appealed for increased support and understanding from the UN Security Council on June 8, 2023. Despite the council's call for peace, Somaliland fears that a misinterpretation of the situation on the ground is undermining their efforts.
