BORN_BRANIAC Posted January 9, 2003 Can a relationship really last the distance? If so, what do you do to keep it alive?

SafiaLuuL612 Posted January 9, 2003 SISTA, I THINK THAT DEPEND ON THE BOND THAT YOU TWO MADE IN THE FIRST PLACE. IF THIS PERSON IS A PERSON THAT USED TO LIVE IN YOUR STATE AND YALL GOT TO KNOW EACH OTHER REAL WELL AND YALL WAS REAL TIGHT, THEN SAY FOR EXAMPLE THAT PERSON MOVED AWAY, YALL COULD STILL KEEP IT TIGHT AS LONG AS YALL VISITED EACH OTHER ONCE IN WHILE BECAUSE THE CONNECTION YALL TWO MADE IN THE FIRST PLACE WOULD ALWAYZ BE THERE. BUT IN THE CASE WHERE YOU MET AN OUT-OF-TOWNER IN YOUR HOMESTATE THAT WAS ONLY THERE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS, AND THEN YALL TRY TO ESTABLISH SOMETHING WHEN THAT PERSON WENT AWAY, THAT IS VERY HARD. ITS HARD TO GET TO KNOW SOMEONE WHEN THEY ARE SO FAR AWAY, AND YOU CAN'T SIMPLY SAY "LET'S GET TOGETHER THIS WEEKEND". IN THAT CASE, IT'S NOT EVEN WORTH IT. I KNOW CUZ I BEEN IN BOTH OF THESE SITUATIONS. SAFIA------*
