NABAD x 3 Posted February 7, 2009 With all respect to Sh.UMUL, I was saddened about his latest outburst, and accusation of RIDOOBID, but I have a big question for him or his supporters. Q- The Sheikh lives in Nairobi Kenya, a Christian country and their constitution is pure secullar, Yaa Sheikh why don't you move out of this non muslim Kenya with your wives, bussineses, and children, and settle in Kismayo which is only few hundred killomitres away, and they practice the Full version of "Sharia"? Answers PLS. Mise armaa shareecada awrka lagu kacsanayaa.
Allamagan Posted February 7, 2009 ^^ Truly agree with you ya Nabad-Nabad-Nabad! I feel the same and think Sh. Umal thought that he was in Makkah.
Ashkiro Posted February 7, 2009 ^Like the regime that rules Makkah is any better. I don't know the sheikh or what he said so can't comment, but what is RIDOOBID?
NABAD x 3 Posted February 7, 2009 Ashkiro sis, Ridoobid means diinta oo laga boxo, wuxuu ku eedeeyay sh.Shariif inuu yahay ninay gaaladu wadato oo tuuray shareecada. But there is no Shareeca rule in Kenya, and there is pure "shareeca rule" in Kismayo which is just accross the road, so logic says why is he not in Kismayo, if he loves shareeca that much what is he doing in six street? this is the audio of his khudba. listen to it carefully. http://www.dayniile.com/Feb%200%209/sh.htm

Fabregas Posted February 7, 2009 @peace, peace, peace. Firstly, the Sheikh didn't say that they became murtads or commited ridda, at least he never mentioned those words once. What he said was something completely different( that they made tanazul on their previous aqeedah stances, which is a well known fact) You should use or weigh your words carefully, lest people think that the alim is a takfir declarer or someone who speaks from emotion. Secondly, if you want to ask a question to the sheikh, then you should seek out the correct places and consult him directly( ie. his email, telephone number). What is the purpose speaking about him in such a manner on a public forum, except that some people will start to backbite him? Thirdly, the sheikh doesn't have supporters, because he is a alim, sheikh, teacher, for all Somalis. He has students and the general public who benefit from his lectures. He doesn't belong to any political group or party. We support him when he says something right. And if he says something wrong, then it IS up to the other scholars to advsise him and warn him, not for the laymen to start asking gossiping about why he doesn't move to a particular city or where his wife and kids live. I still do not see the purpose in asking about why the sheikh chooses to settle in city or city b. Lastly, the Ulema are amongst the people who the deen has given permission to live in the lands of non muslims for the sake of carrying out dacwah or teaching. Perhaps, the Muslims in Kenya need him there and they are benefiting from him? Abu-Diaby ps. I think he should have never mentioned that djibouti group by name. He is gonna get dragged into politics. axmad gurey Posted February 8, 2009 May Allah reward the Sheikh for his talk. It is important in these days because there are many people who are confused and being lead on. We need more Shaykhs who will speak the truth and not fear the blame of the blamers.

Maashaa Allaah, great sumary ya Abuu Diaby Zeylici, if Peace-Peace wants the sheikh's direct number, I can give him straight away, this topic serves no purpose other than seeking irrelavant arguments, we all know the Sheikh is an important figure not just in Kenya or Somalia, but for the whole world. PS: There were two beautifully crafted qiso made by Sheikh Umal in that Khutba, the full version of the Khutba, have you understood it or even listened to it, if you don't, then you wouldn't have posted this topic!!
