The recent Somaliland achievement to Las Anod is not just seem as the mission was accomplished but this will close the frustration and quarrel which the citizen of Sool region experienced more than years.

 

Puntland was politically and militarily defeated. It appears now that the state has an opportunity to chase, at least come across, and ready for a way toreconstruct.

 

Somaliland is not responsible the rapidly worsening reduction situation in the region faced for the last ten years, but it was due to the cumulative effects of insecurity, conflict and politically miscalculated that was based on clan desire and norm rather than being a statehood.

 

According to the other regions, Sool region is the most destructive, devastating and demoralizing state in Somaliland; it was decremented its social life.

 

Comparing to the next neighborhood state, Togdheer made a tremendous development weather it is Geopolitics and Socioeconomics. This state established its own industries, higher education and political system.

 

However, the fact remains that Las Anodis does matter to Somaliland. It does matter economically or socially. And it is a golden time that the majority of the population realize to change the unaccommodating title “dispute territory” to settle and defined territory. Today the people of SOOL have an opportunity to gain again the attention of the government and the international reconstruction relief agencies.
