As the dust is now settling down and the initial euphoria is giving way to the real facts on the ground. Things are becoming a little more clearer:

1. Somaliland resolve is unwavering

2. Garaado are going through the FAFO motion. Probably thinking a way out of this checkmate

3. Maamulka Puntland is now irrelevant in Sool/Sanaag issue. 

4. The IC/Region and even Mogadishu are all in agreement that Sool/Sanaag are Somaliland and will remain Somaliland. 

The agreement in Caynabo in 2017 between President Siilaanyo and Prof Ali Khaliif Galaydh didn't materialise because Prof. Ali failed to bring the Garaado with him or in agreement. 

This time, President Muse Biixi and the Garaado of Sool clan will reach a binding agreement to wrinkle out outstanding issues. President IOG of Djibouti will host the meetings.

By the end of this current issue in Laascaanood, a much more stronger and united Somaliland will emerge.

The issue with Sool/Sanaag has always had too many fingers meddling in its affairs. Today, both Hargeisa, Mogadishu and the region are unanimously agree that this issue can only be resolved by opening talks with Hargeisa.
