Poker Posted December 26, 2008 No he is not. The president of Somaliland and his arrival in Hargeisa is the topic. You made it personal.
Jacaylbaro Posted December 26, 2008 Rayaale has few months left for his term and i can't see any reason he will come back again. Even if he comes back it will be the deicision of the public not few persons on SOL. If you want to let him go, just come and cast your vote ,, it might help your other party. Poker Posted December 26, 2008 Well said bro. I was never a fan of Rayaale but SOMALILAND is very personal to me and since he is the current president of Shanko roon land I have to support him.
RedSea Posted December 26, 2008 Nothing is personal buddy. I smell the same old politics of the past and I am rightfully speaking out against it. JB might have been there when worst happened, unfortunately for him, like gabadh umal ah wuu ilaabay sidii wax udhaceen. Siyad barre dad cun wax qabad leh ayuu ahaa, Rayaale waa dhuuni wax ma tare ah. simple as that. Poker, Support him on what grounds? Shouldn't we judge people based on their track record or should we just lay low like lifeless pigeons? C'mon saaxib you have to speak out, this man and his ilk such as Cawil are bankrupting Somaliland and you saying this. Well Maandeeq that you say you love may not like him very much. Waad iska maqiiqan tahay sxb you don't even know why you oppose him. Dadkay cuneen, dalkay cuneen, siyaad barre ayay la shaqeeyeen, bal wax macno leh sheeg. Even your favorate politician aka Siilaanyo worked under siad barre ,,, so what ? Rayaale didn't come by tanks and mortars, he came by vote and will go by the same if you trust you have the majority. Now, your arguments made me a little suspecious if your party will win coz you look not so confident.
RedSea Posted December 26, 2008 loool.. JB, No one is accusing of him working under Siyad Barre. Don't be paranoid now. What I am accusing him is what majority of people in Somaliland accuse him and that is being deceptive and bankrupting the nation without giving anything in return. I cannot name a single project where Rayaale adminstration undertook and actually finished in timely manner. the biggest accomplishment to date that I can name under this regime is the installment of run way lights into the Hargeisa airport enabling the airport to function at night. TAHT IS IT. He made countless promises which he never fullfilled or kept through. He promised to rebuild the Berber cement factory: never happened. He promised to build Hargeisa second bridge and has been over two years. he also promised to start a new Somaliland airforce in his speech which he gave in front of the army day parade (you were so naive to believe him) in every bit. So don't jump on my throat for pointing out the fake and empty promises, the solid loyalty which you have for him is not very deserving buddy. So i suggest you judge him based on his doings and positves.
Jacaylbaro Posted December 26, 2008 Is that all you got against him ?? ,,, Intaa waan kaala hanweynaa niyow ,,, To remind you, dadkaa doortay dadkaana ridi kara ,, keep your hate somewhere in your drawers sxb.
Poker Posted December 26, 2008 Red Sea, I heard you loud and clear. Trust me, I was there all summer and I will go back there in January INSHA ALLAH. No body cares about Rayaale or any other politician. Our people became well driven money making machines. They have self worth and self respect, ultimate freedom in order to accomplish whatever they desire because of Somaliland. We put up new high rises every day. We own airplanes. We own ships. Most of the streets of Hargeisa are paved. There are very competitive Universities and private Hospitals. All of these are done by individuals like you and me. Something we were denied to do so during the union. No politician can or will grant you any of these. It's all about the country, SOMALILAND. Our people are waiting for March to cast their votes. If Rayaale wins again, They will continue in doing what they're doing and they will continue to support Somaliland. If Some one else wins it, they will do the same. I hope you're getting my drift. RedSea Posted December 26, 2008 Offcourse. Dee haa. That is sufficient enough to accuse him of fake promises to Somaliland. I expect when you promise to build a bridge, pave a road, reconstruct a cement factory, then I do expect those things to be done for the people. Otherwise why are people paying taxes for? Think of the people's feelings and concerns first and stop being a blind loyalist. In addition, Rayaale also took over a bustling Berbera Port, raised taxes on port goods and caused half the consumer to route their goods to a competitive market in Bosaso. To me that is bad governance in all around and you cheering for it every minute of it just proves that you are out of touch. Lastly, I don't for one second think he should be removed via force, but at least he should reality checked once in-a-while wouldn't you agree? Poker well siad: Now stop cheering for politicians and everytime you think of Somaliland think of you and me.
Jacaylbaro Posted December 26, 2008 Correction: Rayaale did not promise to rebuild the Hargeisa bridge sxb. You are misinformed. There is an independent committee who is working on that and the government contributed to them alonside with other contributions of the other people, companies and others. The bridge is under construction ,,,, waad degdegaysaa sxb ,, there is no way the bridge can be built in 2 days ,,,,,, Did you contribute to any of those projects ?? bridge, roads, etc ???? RedSea Posted December 26, 2008 JB, I see the desing is in place. The digging and construction started back in 2006. So where did the government's contribution money(from tarrif) go and how come they have not demand the project to proceed? Secondly, your question is not relevent one buddy, simply because I am not a resident of Hargeisa nor do I pay taxes there. However since you probably put your hard earned money into this, then I figured you wouldn't want it to disapear without any improvements for your morning commute. Jacaylbaro Posted December 26, 2008 Adeer that shows your bakhylnimo and yet to demand what you didn't contribute into ,,, the money has been collected even from those living outside like you ..... there have been and still be an account at Dahabshiil open for those who are willing to contribute even if it is a little. Now why my question is not relevant ?? Or you want to tell me you didn't contribute coz u hate Rayaale ?? I'm sure a good outcome will come soon IA ,, i live here and i see the bridge being constructed everyday when i'm going to the Univ ....
