This comes after a recent speech by Hiiraan politician Sanbaloolshe roasted his clan for being the only clan under literal "gumaysi" in their own lands. 

Prof. Cabdi Samatar warned that organising and arming subclan melitia along jufo-lines has its own serious downside. 

With HAG politicians increasing subscribing to the Woke culture of looking after their own interests, there is indeed an opportunity for the wrong people to ascend to positions of power and turn this into another cycle of the Somali civil war.

H-block should have held a reconciliation conference after winning the civil war in 1991. They should have told everyone in the south this is how its going to be and set terms for governance. But their disunity is the prime reason Mogadishu descended into lawless and fighting between clans become the problematic. Even now with their dominate population they have to put up with D-block nonsense and minority clans joining Al Shaabab for protection.

Do H-block care about their future? Somaliland is doing well for a reason and it has to do with negotiation and debate instead of gunfire.

That was said before Cali-Caydiid's four-month brutal intra-war started in Nov. of 1991. This wiped out and mostly destroyed historical Muqdisho.

I remember this war as a boy. Our family moving to Dayniile and then to Afgooye. Our xaafad in Hodan became Bermuuda, for any person who entered, it was hard to come out alive. My late father refused to leave and stayed all duration of this brutally unbelievable war. In the mornings, Caydiid's militia controlled the xaafad and left at the evenings. Then it was Cali Mahdi's, who were mostly local boys who knew the xaafad. Hungary Caydiid's militia, who were mostly from gobollada dhexe, would come in the morning to get quraac xoog ah in our house and bother our old man, asking why is he staying and asking if there is some gold buried in the big house. Some of their leaders would later come to apologize and until one day one advised my old man to get 'makulaal madoow' to stay at the house during the day time to ward off moooryaanta. It worked.

They were both H-block boys so why does it matter which one is president? Was it because Aidid ego would not allow it? Either way H-block drop the ball big time and help destroy the Somali name. Thank god for Somaliland today as the world can see not all Somalis are uncivilized.
