Ibn Sina a.k.a Avicenna Posted November 18, 2002 JEEHAAD I have heard of it, but i did not really paid that much attention to it.it is believed to be just a temporary base (eventhough i doubt that belived) and it holds close to a thousand soldiers, although the possibilty of enlarging the base is very likely. If you are asking whether the base has to do something with Somalia. The answer would be yes. I heard there were couple of Jet Fighters over some Somali towns, inspecting for some al-qaida activities. So far no body knows what their findings and their feature plannings. If the Iraqi issue settles down, may be we will see if the would move to the main land Somalia.
