billy1944 Posted February 19, 2007 The George Bush government has decided to build a military base somewhere in Africa in response to the growing Chinese investment in several African countries. Therefore it become obvious to all but the blind, deaf and dumb that the USA intends a campaign of destabilization across the continent whereas China's intent is purely economic expansion. If the USA had good intentions, it would simply match or surpass China's investment in the African economy. The USA cannot construct this military outpost without getting approval from a host country. Any country giving approval would be highly suspect of accepting bribery and its leaders must not be permitted to enjoy the fruits of such ill-gotten gains. Once this outpost is established,Africa will witness a heighten level of destabilization and other high crimes in order to make unstable the Chinese investment. The USA modus operandi is always divide and then conquer. This tactic is practice at home and abroad.
nuune Posted February 19, 2007 And which African country can say NO to US aid in exchange for military base? on the latest news, Ukrain and another eastern country accepted US request for anti-missile defense system to be installed in their countries, this is worrying the Kremlin boys but they can't do anything. Let USA exercise their power, I don't think they need permission from anyone to have base in anywhere they like, even if such governments refuse they will make deal with rebels, another worrying factor.
