The Garaad said nothing about Al Shabaab having a camp in Galgala and Atam being al Shabaab. And that was the whole reason why SSDF started invading galgala.

 

But he did talk about the conflict on resources and how he mediadated.

 

So this proofs only that there is a conflict not with Al Shabaab, but similar to the earlier conflict on locals against SSDF for natural resources.

^^^ lool The Garad clearly stated that this was not about resources. The Garad also stated that Puntland is the law of the land and Attam represents no one. That not a single elder from the region supports Attam and that This was not a war against a clan, his clan, the clan that he is a leader of. Or are we to take the words of Galgalanews and Dhahar.com instead of the Garad of the family?

But he hasnt denied that people were being targetted killed, he hasnt denied that people fled, he hasnt denied that people were fought for their natural resources, he even said he mediated.

The Garad interview dispelled a few myths. He totally threw out of the window that this was a clan war, or a clan that got invaded by another as claimed by Dhahar.com, SPR, Galgalanews and their parrots. The Garad was clear that this was the state’s security forces hunting a wanted bandit, he was asked what motivates this man, and he stated what motivates those who kill in the south.

The other key point is that he clearly stated that no elder including the one from Galgala came out against the operation nor corroborated the false story of the 25,000 civilians being uprooted and the torching of the farms. The Garad clearly stated that no such thing happened and even mentioned the elder of Galgala Xuseen Gurxan Geedi to support his point.

This is a smack down, a Diego Maradona goal for the state and the sober realist amongst us who could see through the nonsense being paraded about by the rabid groups in support of Mickey Mouse or the man they thought was their own Sadam Hussain.

Garad Ciid will be remembered as a strong man who was a true Puntlander unlike the many part time useless players in the Diaspora.

Take a listen to what he said, he made it very clear why Atam was so easily defeated and why Puntland has popular support!

 

None of you can still explain why Puntland took over Atam's base so easily, why Atam is still hiding in the Mountains and why the people are still with Puntland!!!
