Somaliland: The police revealed the number of people who died in the protest today

A spokesman for the Somaliland police force, Ibrahim Abdi Haji, has reported on the problems caused by today’s protests in Somaliland regions.

The police said that in today’s demonstration, the police forces killed 3 people and two people died in Hargeisa city and the other person died in Burco city.

He also said that 62 police officers were injured in the violence in Hargeisa and Buro.

There is no independent person to confirm the matter, but he blamed the opposition parties for the problem that happened today.

This protest concerns the government of Muse Bihi who will not hold the presidential election scheduled to take place on November 13 this year.
