When it comes to future of the people, we do not gamble. We are very serious. 

When you say small-fish in a big pond. That is very rich of you to say. I mean, the SNM actually trained and armed the USC melitia that occupied the whole of South Somalia.

In fact, SNM was the strongest group if Post-Afwayne Somalia.  

In Feb 1991, the SNM dispatched the first and last delegation to Mogadishu. The report back to Hargeisa was grim. There was no hope. 30 years later, I am sure you are getting conditioned to accept that there is sill no hope. 

With regards to "Khayraad". I laugh at this assertion from South Somalia folks. Some of them claim, "Where will you buy Moos, we will cut off Moos from you". Dude! You never gave us Muus/Moos for free. There is other markets out there for Moos, happy to supply us as much as we need. 

Besides, the only real "Khayraad" that Somalia ever had is Livestock. Somaliland controls Livestock, period!!.  

In terms of production of cereals, Wajaale region has always performed well in terms of wheat/sorghum production. In fact, only Shabeele regions produced more. Go and read the documents from FAO in pre-1991. 

 Somaliland has more seasonal rivers than South Somalia. With Juba and Shabelle rivers becoming season rivers, you are no better than us.

 From the outset, SNM had an arms-length relationship with the SSDF. They were not serious and just wanted to muck around We were serious and wanted, whatever it takes, at whatever cost, to topple Afwayne as soon as possible.
