jabarti Posted December 13, 2003 Asalamu Aleikum to you all. Have u seen what I seen on Dayniile.com and Somalitalk.com To help our sick Somali kids is one thing but to show them naked private parts on the net is another. I am willing to help our needy kids and I encourage others to do the same, but I totally disagree with some of the Somali web sites who are showing and displaying our little brothers and sisters on the net naked. I wrote an article in Somali and sent to all Somali owned and operated sites protesting against this practice and I will argue to all of you to the same, imagine if that was your biological sister or brother would you allow this to happen to them, what about if that was your mother or father (remember today’s kids will be tomorrows fathers and mothers) would you allow your father or mother to be shown here naked. NO WAY. PLEASE SHARE WITH US WHAT U THING ABOUT THIS. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME. JABARTI OSMAN

pearl Posted December 13, 2003 i dont think we are soo bad in giving charity that to see a naked child would cause us to give charity especially to a somali child....of course ur first instinct is to give unless u dont got the dough..i also think that constitutes as child pronography.....so they better get themselves in check before they are sent behind bars..... QUANTUM LEAP Posted December 18, 2003 I somehow disagree with you folks who say they exploiting the children by showing what they suffering from. Much as it disheartens us to see what we see on these pages, we have seen worse on TV especially during famine and war. The intention of these people is honourable I would think thought the way they presented wasn’t probably right. Pornography or child abuse isn’t even an issue here as these kids are sick kids who need help and the only form of help is to show how desperate they are otherwise non of you would know nor would consider even sending money to anyone or anything that you no information.
