For 50 years Egypt was using Somalia for its proxy war against Ethiopia. Thanks to Egypt and gulf money , a socialist  and slowly progressing Somalia was transformed to fake capitalist oligarchy and pushed the country in  to war.

I thought we were done with these guys. If your neighbor blows up, it will certainly effect your house . Abiy Ahmed is the target here. Asias Afwork of Eritrea has abandoned him and the future king of Ethiopia is alone in the region. There won't be any Turkiye this time, but I expect the Russians to arrive soon in Addis.

If Alshabab make their way to Ethiopia, specially the highlanders of Oromia, then Alshabab will essentially become the new Taliban. 

According to Jamal Osman's recent Report, Alshabab is awash with Cash $$$. This means, they can easily swell its ranks with hundreds of thousands of Oromo and other lower Caste Ethiopian ethnic groups. And use these in all sorts of ways.

I am not surprised DAALMAR and WAARE supporting HSM, I was surprised thought Faisal supporting HSM diplomatic failure. Is Faysal doing this because of Hamza. Somali Qabiil baa dilay.

I know, Ethiopia is our arch enemy but they are our neighbour too, and especially last 4 years of Abbey they were good neighbour.   You can choose friend but you can not choose a neighbour. it is our Interest to be neutral of this conflict.

this kind of strategic shift need time, what is the rush. Why not wait the minster to be named and consult with stake holders.

If you choosing between two, need to ask the threat and the strength. Interms of strength they both the same, they can not offer much. But interms of threat, Ethiopia can do harm to us more than Egypt. Not only arming Alshaydaan, but prolonging famine by blocking water ways to Juba and Shabeele rivers. Did HSM thought all the scenario, or he was happy with the Samsonite of Sooryo.

The Egyptians are desperate. They are only interested in forcing Ethiopia to come to the negotiations table. Once they get that signature, Somalia is on its own. 

The same guy that has met with Somalia's delegation was in Hargeisa trying to sell this idea to Muse Biihi and Co. They even invited Somaliland's acting Foreign Minister at the Time Minister Liban to Egypt. And later a big delegation from Cairo arrived in Hargeisa pitching their plans. 

Muse Biihi said, we are not interested in your issues with Ethiopia. If you want to deal with us, we are more than welcome. If you want to use us like a stick to beat on Ethiopia, then we are not the type of people that fall for that. Muse pointed to the direction of Mogadishu.  

In the end, it is human nature, Cario will have more respect for Hargeisa than for Mogadishu. Kolka kaadhka laga marsado HSM, he will be thrown under the bus like a hooker.

Xasan is Xasan and has this mentality of us Soomaalis being always in a weak position. The mere fact of giving him a welcome to a foreign capital, in his mind, equals an achievement itself; that is why he is usually madaxiisa ugu foorariyaa kuwa dhigiisa ah, very insecure.

unlike southern Somalia, the DDS population is 100% supporting their forces against Al-shabab. Women are cooking food and sending to the front, and even young women are proposing to marry the soldiers.

I think Al-shbaab will fail in the Somali region, but the danger is Oromia.
