They could be valuable against Al-Shabaab. Another dilemma is Aaran Jan in Garoowe want to crash Reer Dayaano both politicaly and military and take over the leadership. Yet Mr. Dayyano, the older brother want to try his luck one more time before being disbanded. In fact, a Reer Bari friend of mine told me that it was Garoowe gang that forced Dani to clash with Dayaano before running for president which was a bad move that backfired. You are not well informed about how things are inside Puntland. Each section of the so called Puntland melitia is controlled by the local clan there. For example, the Puntland melitia stationed in Garowe are controlled by local Garowe clan. The same goes for Galkacyo.
