Information warfare is part of the campaign to keep nations down.

This tiny great nation of 4 million people had repulsed the army of the 100 million Ethiopia nation led by a capable prime minister Meles Zanawi. Before the war of 1998-2000, Eritrea was developing in high speed. Trucks were assembled in their factories and they had built the Massawa-Asmara train tracks without the help of others.

Then when they defeated Ethiopia in a stalemate, cribbing sanctions flowed and the country faced great hardship, but they kept their independence. Simpletons can't differentiate between national interest and politics. I am glad Mr. Ingiriis can. People went after him when he said Somalis should be proud of fighting the TPLF in Tigray, not that these boys were as it was proven otherwise.

It’s sign of maturity to develop foreign relationships based on national interest raising it above the partisan politics, immature favouritism or the narrow interest of few individuals. Each country pursues foreign policy based on securing its national interest and its goals, It’s a universally accepted right of each state. 

Lets hope one can continue to develop mature and balanced relationships based on interest, diplomacy, informed negotiations and compromise without the childish tit for tat with other countries, e.g. Ethiopia, Kenya, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iran, Turkey, EU, US, China, Russia and whomever.

^^You are right, national interest should be above  the partisan politics, it will take years and getting used to it, we are still learning how to be opposition or in government. 

Many countries, regardless of who come to power, the foreign policy rarely changes.
