Dhagax-Tuur Posted June 22, 2022 That's the result when players are selected based on tribe. Mismanagement of the meagre resource doesn't help either. Unukaa leh xulka qaranka = 16 -

But for countries who have no football culture, there are worse records. You can give them the benefit of the doubt as these other countries have other sports they more or less prioritise than football. I am sure there is no shortage of talent, but just this is purely corruption and clan-mentality at play. The Somalia Football representative to FIFA are owned and managed by Unuka-leh family as their own family enterprise. So is the Olympics Committee. These are the corruptions that was going on for the last 30 years.
maakhiri1 Posted June 22, 2022 It is very rotten , shameless Meel walb qabyaaladii iyo qurunkii Waa inala gashey? These were selected from Mogadishu , they have to be all dismissed and started from zero
galbeedi Posted June 22, 2022 They shouldn't participate at all. BB, did you know for the last seven years Somaliland held Ciyaaraha gobolada for only once or twice. The youth throughout Somalia are after thought. There is no football league or even yearly competition in peaceful Somaliland. And they have the ministry of sports. What that tells you? Duufaan Posted June 22, 2022 Some people were criticizing me for blaming Hassan too early. The fact is things will not get better for national symbolism. In a few days, it is the national week and you do not see the festival around the world where Somalis live. Here in Minneapolis, one main street is normally closed for celebration. This year is very quiet. Hassan is not even the country busy with signing the Abrahamic accord in UAE. About this time five years ago, Somalia was winning games, in fact, was close to qualifying for the final round one time. Volunteers from around the world were participating, without getting paid and fighting hard for every second of the game. Here in America, the celebration of July 4 is already started a long time ago. A country of settlers, slaves, and the worst civil war. The myth of nationhood is important for the psychic of the nation and that is why people want to pay for a house for Farmaajo.
