Geel_jire Posted March 27, 2010 I find these extreme feminists the most irrational people. The reason the prophet P.B.U.H said that heaven is found under the feet of the mother. the huge sacrifices that they make although they do not see it as such. GaroweGal Posted March 27, 2010 On the real, those kids will probably end up putting them work juggling career mothers in some abusive nursing home. I say ship them to day care not a day after you've left the hospital, hire them a 24 hr nanny, utulize your 'maternal leave' to go for a nice exotic holiday. Drink/Smoke all the heck you want (hopefully, it causes them brats to loose braincells). Essentially, live life like them burdensome, leech-like dependants don't exist! Aaliyyah Posted March 27, 2010 why would you have a child if you think motherhood is oppression. I think motherhood is a blessing as many of you already mentioned.. I am not a mother yet but I love kids... Inshallah when allah blesses me with some I would wanna be the best mother out there...or at least one of the best. Besides, am sure the experience would be so much better when you have someone helping you out... so motherhood is a huge responsibility, and so is fatherhood. salaam
Napoleon Posted March 29, 2010 No one chooses 'oppression', the fact that you choose to get knocked up and keep the creature growing inside your bellies disqualifies you from claiming oppression.

Chocolate and Honey Posted April 2, 2010 Is living a form of opression? Why dont we all throw ourself off a cliff and tall buildings? Imagine all you have to do to keep going? Some women are yapping in the name of yapping walee. This gives feminists a bad rep.
-Lily- Posted April 6, 2010 Ducaysane , read my first post. This is Elisabeth Badinte’s opinion. I thought a balanced, realistic approach to motherhood would be ideal.
